Thursday: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Tel: 01695 657570
You may prefer to speak to our team of Campus Connectors and Campus Communicators, who can offer advice and signpost you to the relevant department or service who can help. You can speak to any of the Campus Connectors during their regular visits to your halls, or you can contact the Campus Communicators via your Halls Facebook Group.
The Campus Life team may also be able to point you in the direction of another team that can help, such as the Wellbeing team or Campus Support.
We are here to ensure that you live in a safe and secure environment while on campus. We also enforce the Student Disciplinary Regulations and investigate all incidents and situations on campus.
Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS)
The Campus Life team work closely with the Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) who provide lots of useful advice and information regarding fire safety in halls. Officers from LFRS will deliver key information during Welcome Talks, which all residential students are required to attend during their second week living on campus. Please also take the time to read government advice about how you can protect yourself and your belongings from fire. For further advice and guidance about fire safety, please read this Fire Safety Guide.
The Campus Life team works closely with Lancashire Constabulary who provide lots of useful advice and information regarding personal safety, crime and anti-social behaviour both on and off campus. Police Officers often attend Welcome Talks, which all students are required to attend during their second week living on campus.
