Have you ever wondered what happens to your feedback and which changes happen as a result of what you’ve told us you’d like to see?
There have been lots of changes at Edge Hill recently based on your suggestions.

You said that you wanted more vegetarian, vegan and allergy food options on campus…
We launched Roots Kitchen in September 2019. Focused on vegetarian and vegan food that is grown sustainably and accredited by the Soil Association, Roots Kitchen is a welcome addition to the food available at Edge Hill.
You said that you wanted to find all the opportunities on offer at Edge Hill brought together in one place…
We created Advantage, a brand new platform for 2019 that gives a home to all the enhancement activities available to you. Whether you want to get active, broaden your horizons and going global or make sure that you’re work-ready for life after EHU, make Advantage your first stop!
Student Job Bank
You said that you wanted to know about upcoming job opportunities…
We started the Student Job Bank in October 2019 and since then we’ve been busy matching students to roles across EHU. As well as providing a financial boost, these roles are specifically selected for the skills they give you to boost
your future employability.
Big White Wall
You said that access to more online spaces where you could talk to others about challenges you’re facing would support your wellbeing at university…
We introduced Big White Wall. At the heart of Big White Wall is its community of members, who support, help each other and share what’s troubling them in a safe and anonymous environment. The site is available 24/7, 365 days a year. You can find support simply by logging on.
Student Pulse Surveys
You said that you wanted an easy way to feedback back to tutors what was going well in each of your modules and where improvements could be made…
We introduced Student Pulse Surveys this year for undergraduates. This is your opportunity to tell us what you think about your course. During the academic year, you’ll receive a link to the survey via your Edge Hill email account and your tutor will set aside class time for you to complete the survey. Everything you tell us is totally anonymised and will be used to make sure we do the best we can.
Remember, at Edge Hill we:
- always want to hear what you think
- are grateful to receive feedback and always treat it sensitively
- take your feedback seriously
- actively consider how we can act on your feedback
