Student Voice Survey FAQs
Student Voice Survey are your opportunity to tell us what you think about your course. Everything you need to about the surveys is covered below.
Who will receive the Student Voice Survey to complete?
The Student Voice Survey will be introduced across all undergraduate academic programmes over the course of the 2021/22 academic year.
When will I receive a survey to complete?
You will be invited to complete the survey from November 2021 onwards depending on the structure of your programme.
Does this replace module evaluation?
Yes. This is the university’s new approach to module evaluation and is your chance to have your say on how your course is going.
How do I access the survey?
You will receive a link to the survey via your university email account. The survey can be completed on any mobile device.
Are the results anonymous?
Yes. Student responses are scrambled into an anonymous pool of data at the point of collection and so responses cannot be related back to an individual. Links to the survey are personalised so that the correct module names and codes are displayed but this does not jeopardise your anonymity in any way.
Who will see my feedback?
Heads of Department will review the anonymised feedback at a programme and module level and may share it with colleagues within the department. The survey administrators (the Student Experience Team) and senior leaders of the University will also have access to the data for the purpose of institutional management reporting.
Will I receive a response to my feedback?
Yes, your department will provide a response to the feedback received from your group. This will either be in person, via email or posters in your department.
