Whether you’re brand new to Edge Hill, or returning after the summer break, there is plenty to keep you entertained between studying!

Cinema, Theatre and Comedy at the Arts Centre

The Arts Centre will be offering an exciting programme of events including film screenings, live outdoor comedy performances and games cafés. Most performances and screenings are free for Edge Hill students!

Keep an eye on the webpage to see when we’re open and check out what’s on. As soon as we’re open, pop into the the Arts Centre Box Office when you’re on campus and pick up your free membership card.

Sports, Workouts and Swimming at the Sports Centre

There’s something for everyone at the Sports Centre – try out the fitness suite, swimming pool, classes and racket sports.

Annual membership for 2021-22 is just £99 with a discounted rate available when purchased before 24 October.

Events, Activities and Meeting New People with Student Life

The Student Life team is here to help you settle into university and make you feel part of the Edge Hill community. The team will be running a range of events throughout the year – from quizzes to vlogs, competitions to tours of the local area, there is something for everyone.

Societies, Socialising and Opportunities with The Students’ Union

Edge Hill Students’ Union is incredibly excited about their plans for Edge Hill’s official Welcome Week 2021 celebrations, which will take place between 25 September – 3 October.

They will be updating all Edge Hill students with all information between now and tickets being released in early August via their Instagram and Facebook channels, and on their website.

Coffee on the Go or a Leisurely Lunch with Food at Edge Hill

There’s a great selection of outlets on campus including:

  • Grab and Go in the Hub (for a quick bite to eat between lectures)
  • Starbucks in the Hub (to get that caffeine kick!)
  • Roots Kitchen in the Faculty of Education building (a wide range of delicious vegetarian and vegan food)
  • Subway in the Students’ Union (subs, salads and drinks, any time of the day)
