Guest Lecture: Is Sport Good for Mental Health?

In this lecture, Ian Braid will draw upon his personal experiences of mental illness, work as Chief Executive Officer of the British Athletes Commission (the association for high performance Olympic and Paralympic athletes in over 40 sports), and involvement in the UK government’s UK 2017 Duty of Care in Sport Review (led by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson) to discuss whether sport is good for mental health.
