SOLSTICE and CLT Conference

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2021 SOLSTICE e-learning and CLT Conference (online) on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd June.

To support our local community, Edge Hill University will be donating the proceeds from the conference to local Food Banks.

We were delighted to welcome delegates from California, Ireland, Australia, Plymouth, Durham, Bedfordshire, Oxford, Liverpool, Huddersfield, Scottish Highlands, Sheffield, Cumbria, Leicester, Shropshire, Newcastle….and Ormskirk!

We are grateful to the wonderful guest speakers (details below) for their presentations/workshops and for their part in the Question Time session.

All of the presenters helped to make the conference an interesting and vibrant mix of professional development opportunities.

It was fantastic to have contributions from the Student Union and from current undergraduate students supporting some of the sessions.

The ‘Digital Innovations and Pedagogies Network’ workshops led by Sarah Wright, Senior SOLSTICE Fellowship Lead, provided access to new technologies and learning together.

We are hoping for a return to informal in-person networking and the legendary BBQ on campus for the 2022 conference.  We are also hoping to continue embracing the technologies we are now using and hope that this will support the international reach of the conference to continue.

Dates for the 2022 conference will be announced shortly.  Follow us on Twitter for updates. @CLTatEHU @solsticeCETL
