‘The future of higher education and the claim of globalization: Revisioning the past, re-imagining the future’, Dr Hans Schildermans (University of Vienna)
Dr Hans Schildermans is based at the Centre for Foundations of Education at the University of Vienna. He is the author of Experiments in Decolonizing the University: Towards an Ecology of Study (Bloomsbury, 2021). His research interests span higher education, educational history and theory, and science and technology studies and he is currently working on a book about how different ideas of the university have been enacted historically under the influence of alternative imaginations of the future.
