If you want to transfer your programme of study leading to a different award title, you must first ensure you meet the entry requirements for the new programme.
You need to obtain approval to transfer from the head of department or programme leader of both programmes.
You should then:
- Obtain an internal transfer form (which includes programme/module information) from Academic Registry or here.
- Ensure both programme leaders sign the form, then submit your completed and signed form to Academic Registry. They will process the form and notify you when your transfer has been approved
- You cannot transfer from a non-professional programme to a professional programme
- You may be able to transfer from a professional programme onto a non-professional programme if you have passed 60 credits of relevant subject study (ie. Levels 4 and 5)
For more information please contact the Academic Records team.
Transferring mode of study
If you want to transfer the mode of study on your existing programme, please contact the Academic Records team first, to confirm it is an option on your programme.
It may be possible to transfer from full-time and part-time and vice versa, however there will be tuition fee implications.
