Transferring programmes

If you want to transfer your programme of study leading to a different award title,  you must first ensure you meet the entry requirements for the new programme. You can transfer within the first 4 weeks of teaching (semester one).

You need to obtain approval to transfer from the head of department or programme leader of both programmes.

You should then:

  1. Obtain an internal transfer form (which includes programme/module information) from Academic Registry or here.
  2. Ensure both programme leaders sign the form, then submit your completed and signed form to Academic Registry. They will process the form and notify you when your transfer has been approved

Please note:

  • You cannot transfer from a non-professional programme to a professional programme
  • You may be able to transfer from a professional programme onto a non-professional programme if you have passed 60 credits of relevant subject study (ie. Levels 4 and 5)
