Enrolment information

You must enrol before the start of your course to become a member of the University, activate your IT/Library account and release your student loan funds.

If you are a new student you will complete two stages of enrolment (both online).

All the instructions and links you will need to enrol will be emailed out to you. Continuing students can enrol through the student homepage.

You need to enrol on your course at the beginning of each academic year.

New students

Stage one

You will provide some personal details and upload a suitable photograph for your University Student ID card (Unicard), as well as a copy of your identity document (ID). Please see our Enrolment Identification Requirements for guidance on acceptable forms of ID. This form may also include an option to choose modules.

Stage two

Once you have submitted your stage one enrolment, and the Enrolment team have verified your photo and ID, you will be ready to complete stage two. We will send you a confirmation email with instructions to your Edge Hill email account (make sure you set this up before you get here).

It is essential that you complete stage two to confirm your attendance and release your student loan. You will need to do this when you first arrive on campus, this will either be for your induction or if you are living in halls, the day you move in.

Stage two is really simple. Open your confirmation email, click the link, log in using your student number and password and click the ‘Enrol Online’ button. Once you have done this you will have finished the enrolment process.

Remember that you are not enrolled as an Edge Hill student until you have completed both stages of enrolment.

Continuing students

You will enrol online unless we have told you otherwise.

You do not need to come onto campus to enrol.

Instructions regarding re-enrolment will be emailed to your Edge Hill email account. Log in to your student record and click ‘enrol now’.

For students re-enrolling in September 2021, please see below for more information.

• If your online transcript says that you have passed, or you have been told that you can continue with module(s) outstanding, you can re-enrol from 1pm on Tuesday 7 September 2021

• If your online transcript indicates that you need to complete reassessment, and you successfully pass it, you will be able to re-enrol from 12 noon on Friday 24 September 2021

• Re-enrolment dates for Midwifery, Paramedic Practice and ODP students are still to be confirmed, we will email you details nearer the time

If you have any outstanding fees or are waiting on the results of a reassessment, you will not be able to enrol.

The ability to enrol is dependent on an assessment board confirming your progression to next year. If you think you still have modules outstanding, contact the assessment team for more information: assessment@edgehill.ac.uk

You will not receive your Student Finance until you have enrolled in full.
