“My advice for people starting this course is to be committed and to work hard.”
“I’m currently a teaching assistant but my ambition is to be a teacher, which is why I enrolled on this course. It’s a stepping stone to a teaching degree and new career, but is also relevant to my current job. It has helped me to gain promotion at work and given me a much more in-depth understanding of workplace procedures and policies.
I initially chose Edge Hill because it’s near my home, but it has proved to be a good decision. It’s an inviting, warm and friendly campus and feels like a proper community. My son has visited the campus with me and really likes it as well. He is thinking about applying to Edge Hill and I’d be happy for him to come here when it is his time.
The course content is exactly matching my expectations and everything is as the prospectus promised. Classes are stimulating, motivating and engaging and I’ve had lots of good learning experiences. The course really expands your knowledge. Relations between students on the course are strong and we’re a good mix of ages and characters.
My advice for people starting this course is to be committed and to work hard. It sounds obvious but you only get out of this course what you put in. The content is really relevant to your future employment and the tutors are very good – they’re positive, easy going and approachable. Also, the facilities at Edge Hill are great and are improving all the time.”
