I came here very nervous and not knowing anyone but I put myself out there and just thought what is there to lose!

Why did you decide to come to the residential?

I spoke to one the Education Liaison Team from Edge Hill University at a school careers convention and thought it sounded like a really good opportunity.

What have you gained from your experience?

Academically I know a lot more about the course and how and where it is taught as well as the entry requirements and interview process. I came here very nervous and not knowing anyone but I put myself out there and just thought what is there to lose!

The week has helped me decide that university and Primary Education is for me. I really feel I’ve made friends I’ll keep in contact with and I’d happily come back next week. Despite some initial nerves I’ve made great friends and know that I could do this!
