The experiences I’ve gained over the past three years have been invaluable and I truly feel that my LLB (Hons) Law degree will help me to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a family law solicitor.

“I instantly knew that Edge Hill University was somewhere I would be happy to live and study when I first visited on an open day.

Now that I am a student here I feel I have the best of both worlds as I am able to enjoy everything that Ormskirk has to offer and can also take a short train journey into Liverpool whenever I want.

The most enjoyable aspect of my law degree is the wide variety of modules that we get to study over the three years of the course. These provide a wide range of knowledge and are taught by amazing lecturers who are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help.

As well as spending time studying I decided to become a student blogger at Edge Hill in order to help people who are going through the process of applying to university.

Within the blog I tend to write about my own experiences, including those from my course, life living in halls, about the friends I’ve made and the social aspects of university life.

I also write about the many opportunities I’ve had during my time at Edge Hill such as being a camp leader and the opportunities to network with lots of potential employers at careers days.

Once I graduate I am hoping to spend some time travelling before working as a legal secretary while also working towards becoming a fully qualified lawyer.

The experiences I’ve gained over the past three years have been invaluable and I truly feel that my LLB (Hons) Law degree will help me to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a family law solicitor.”
