If anyone was to ask my advice about coming to study at Edge Hill I would definitely recommend it.

“I was initially attracted to Edge Hill University because of the beautiful campus, the excellent learning facilities, the engaging and friendly staff and the courses on offer. After spending two years here I can honestly say I still feel the same.

My favourite things about life here are the brilliant campus environment, the societies and clubs you can easily get involved with, and the engaging, friendly staff.

For me, the best thing about my BA (Hons) Sociology degree is how the broad nature of the programme relates to many aspects of modern society, allowing me to develop informed opinions about a whole range of social issues.

Because I enjoy my time at university so much, I decided to share my experiences by blogging about new and exciting things happening around campus, as well as discuss current topics that students feel strongly about.

I predominantly blog about aspects of university life such as student societies, upcoming events or news relating to subject areas. I am also planning to link my blog to my course by producing more content on social issues, prominent news stories and topics affecting the local area.

If anyone was to ask my advice about coming to study at Edge Hill I would definitely recommend it. I have found it be a university that always puts students first and where the staff are always willing to help with any concerns you may have.

After I graduate I intend to travel around Europe for a year before pursuing a career in the public sector. I feel my degree will equip me well for opportunities in areas such as social work, policing or teaching, which all really interest me.”
