“Choosing Edge Hill University was easy as the campus is incredible with great facilities, but, more importantly, the staff are very experienced and at the forefront of research in their chosen areas. This means that the syllabus is constantly adapting to the changing developments of each topic and what you learn is relevant.

The BA (Hons) History degree is structured in a very student orientated manner and the wide selection of modules allows you to concentrate your learning around the areas of most interest to you.

During classes I’ve found that the debates soon flow, in a friendly, open and interesting way that allows everyone in the room to easily grasp the subject at hand. It’s not uncommon for us to head to one of the University’s cafes or somewhere afterwards to keep the discussions going.

I’m really enjoying my time here, so once I graduate I’m considering doing one of Edge Hill’s postgraduate courses, which I feel will be of benefit to me when it comes to starting out in my career.”
