I’d say that my Edge Hill experience has been life-changing, I never thought that my skills surrounding biology would develop to such a high standard within just three years.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the natural world and how everything within it interacts and entwines, so this has been the perfect course for me and I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in biology.
During my studies at Edge Hill University I’ve found the tutors to be approachable, they provide support and inspire you to study some really fascinating areas. This, I feel, helps you to develop a broad range of knowledge and skills that could lead to a number of future career opportunities.
The facilities within the biology department are excellent too, with a lot of specialist and laboratory-based equipment that can aid your research areas. The library has a brilliant selection of journals and subscribes to online databases that make finding supportive scientific papers an easy process.
Studying on this course is definitely helping me to move closer to my goals. For my recent work placement I was lucky enough to acquire a position at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, after which I was offered a brief job which enabled me to use their specialised facilities for my dissertation research.
Overall, I’d say that my Edge Hill experience has been life-changing, I never thought that my skills surrounding biology would develop to such a high standard within just three years.”
