Our Board

Governance and management of the Postgraduate Medical Institute is served by a Steering Group, chaired by Seth Crofts, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Care; and a Management Group, chaired by Clare Austin, Associate Dean of Research and Innovation, Faculty of Health and Social Care.  In addition to this there is a University-wide Members’ forum.

Steering Group

The Steering Group develop and support the strategic aims of the PGMI, whilst a combination of both internal and external membership ensures that its activities are of direct relevance to, and are of benefit to, our stakeholders.


Management Group

The primary aim of the Management Group is to implement PGMI strategy, as determined by the Steering Group.  Representative of the PGMI’s cross-faculty composition, the Group includes academics from across the University who have an interest in health and social care.
