Biography
Yvonne joined Edge Hill University in 2008, at the very start of the journey for Every Child Counts (ECC), with the development of its first mathematics intervention, Numbers Count. Yvonne has taken great pleasure in seeing the children participating in ECC interventions flourish and gain confidence as a result of the team’s hard work.
She is based at Edge Hill University, on the Ormskirk campus. Yvonne oversees the day-to-day operations centrally, liaising with schools, teachers, and the wider ECC network.
Before joining Edge Hill University, Yvonne qualified as both a Primary and Secondary teacher, working both locally and abroad. On her return to the UK, she ran a teacher recruitment agency in partnership with Lancashire County Council.
