My experience at Edge Hill University has been a very rewarding one. From the very beginning I was exposed to the high quality of education offered at the University.
One of the best things about Edge Hill University: The academic excellence of Edge Hill University is one of the best things about the university. The university has regularly been ranked high in different university rankings. My experience at EHU: My experience at Edge Hill University has been a very rewarding one. From the very beginning I was exposed to the high quality of education offered at the University. I found the lecturers to be very knowledgeable and supportive and this helped me to settle in quickly. Having access to modern learning facilities especially the Computer rooms used during lectures and the state of the art Library was very key in making me have a smooth learning experience.
Why I chose EHU: EHU gave me a platform to achieve my dreams and excel. In my search for a suitable university to pursue my Masters degree in the UK, I found EHU to be among the very few universities that offer value for money and very rich course content for its programmes. During my application process, I found out about scholarship opportunities offered by the University, and I did my part by submitting a very robust application for one of the scholarships offered. To my greatest surprise I was offered scholarship (worth 50% of my total tuition fee), and this cemented my choice of EHU.
My favourite part about the course: The MSc Psychology conversion course in EHU is a very good programme that welcomes students from diverse backgrounds. The course delivery included lectures and seminars, and this enabled students on the course to adapt well to the new field of study. The seminars gave students the opportunity to interact with tutors and learn in detail the key areas of the vast field of psychology. The course gave me a better understanding of human behaviour and developed my critical and analytical thinking skills.
Advice for prospective students: Before choosing a course, research the programmes available, go through the course modules and try to get a good understanding of what each programme offers, then choose a course that best aligns with you academic and career goals. Make sure to check the entry requirements and ensure you have the necessary qualifications. Where possible, you could visit the University campus, attend open days and see things for yourself. After you must have gained admission and started your academic journey, make sure to make use of the different opportunities the University has to offer.
