Biography
John is a senior lecturer in Sports Therapy. He joined Edge Hill in 2015 having worked in professional football (2008- 2015). Prior to this John worked at Teesside University. He was a Director of The Society of Sports Therapists from 2002-2018 fulfilling the roles of Membership Officer and CPD Officer.
Research Interests
John’s research area is late stage functional ankle rehabilitation. The focus of the research is related to the efficacy of prophylactic interventions commonly implemented in this stage and investigating the potential use of GPS within this setting.
