Grace Dunne
Business & Management with Leisure and Tourism
Working directly within Facilities and representing student voice as part of the research & development for future years has helped broaden my knowledge.
My Placement carried out with EHU Facilities Management Department was a fantastic opportunity to be introduced into an office and business workplace environment. It was great to feel part of a team and contribute to the day-to-day running of the department. Working directly within Facilities and representing student voice as part of the research & development for future years has helped broaden my knowledge. I now feel more prepared for my upcoming Human Resources year placement with Hilton Hotels.
βAt interview Grace shone and we knew from all the examples that she gave, and her desire to learn that she would do well in the FM Customer Experience team. From day one Grace was curious and asked lots of questions of which many made us think and act. She carried out various Customer engagement and insight activities including: 87 customer exit interviews, 8 mystery shopper audits and gave 25 voluntary feedback comments on the 13 FM service areas. From all the information that she had gathered from customers she was able to produce Customer Insight Reports to enable the teams to identify areas for improvement and share positive feedback with their team members and good practice across teams. She offered a student perspective when addressing queries which supported us, and she was pleased that we listened and took on board what she said. Grace feels that the tasks and meetings she attended have supported her confidence and growth. We will miss her and wish her well for the future!β β Tracey Blackett, FM Quality Assurance and Insight Manager
