Biography

Hayley is currently working as a Practice & Employability Lecturer in the Faculty of Allied Health, Social Care & Wellbeing, Edge Hill University. Hayley joined Edge Hill University in 2022 and has recently embarked on research with colleagues within counselling and psychology.

Prior to working at EHU, Hayley has taught across a range of health, social care, and wellbeing courses within Higher Education. She also has a wealth of practice-based experience across a range of multi-disciplinary roles including: healthcare in the community, SEN education, respite care, family therapy and youth work.

Research Interests

Hayley has diverse research interests, ranging from heuristic and narrative based research to creative approaches to health and wellbeing. She is a qualitative researcher with a keen interest in exploring topics related to the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Hayley currently contributes to the following modules within the Faculty of Allied Health, Social Work & Wellbeing:
