Anna Bolger, 21, has known she wanted to work in social media since she was at school.
She supplemented her marketing and digital communications studies with a work placement at Morgan Branding, a digital marketing agency based in Warrington.
Now she has secured a full-time role at the agency, creating TikTok content and delivering coaching on social media strategy for an impressive client list.
Anna applied for her placement in second year and was successful in securing her practical-based learning with Morgan Branding, impressing them straight away.
Anna explained: “I suggested setting up a TikTok account to share educational tips, as this was something they were not doing already. The account has amassed more than 21,000 followers and enabled us to offer bespoke TikTok services.”
Callum Morgan, Director of Morgan Branding, said: ”Anna has been an incredibly valuable asset to our team. She has single-handedly grown our new social media department around TikTok, providing a variety of services. Anna has created, sold and delivered the new offering.
“We are incredibly excited for Anna to join us full time in May and are looking forward to watching her grow!”
When it came to choosing where to continue her studies after A-Levels, Anna said: “I checked out all the universities near Liverpool, and Edge Hill really stood out. What attracted me most is the vibe on campus. Edge Hill is a really nice place to be; bright, colourful and vibrant with an impressive gym on site.
“It was important to me that my studies had a good mix of theory and practical work, and the marketing and digital communications course didn’t let me down. I loved the content of all the modules, the lecturers were amazing and the friends I made had a positive impact.”
