Who are they?

TechSkills (part of EHU Learning Services) – a package of workshops, online resources, activities and face to face support to help students develop and enhance your technology skills.

What are they offering?

A range of quick guides to the main Microsoft Office applications used at the University together with some that are more comprehensive.

How do I use?

Access Learning Services’ TechSkills page for self-help guides. Log in using your EHU account to view the comprehensive ones. There is also a list of free software that you can make use of here.

Downside

None!

Adobe

Who are they?

Adobe (Software providers).

What are they offering?

Free 90-day trial of the web conferencing platform Adobe Connect, which supports collaboration via video, audio, screen-sharing, polls, chat, Q&A and document sharing.

How do I use?

Create an account on Adobe’s Connect website.

Downside?

Ends 1st July.

Perlego

Who are they?

Perlego, an online textbook library.

What are they offering?

Free access to its repository of more than 300,000 titles for the next six weeks.

How do I use?

Access the Perlego website to sign up to the two-week free trial. On the plans page, select monthly and the six week offer will be automatically applied at checkout. If the code is not applied then use code ‘keeplearning’.

Downside?

It’s only free for six weeks.
