dot-art Schools

dot-art Schools is an interactive, online, inter-school art competition, taking place annually and culminating in a public exhibition of the winning artworks and prize giving celebration for teachers, students and their families. dot-art Schools champion and support children’s art and has engaged with over 9000 students and works with over 100 schools across the Liverpool City Region each year.

How we support

Edge Hill University is the lead partner for dot-art Schools, supporting creative opportunities in Education. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of dot-art Schools in 2022, the University also sponsored 10 schools across the Liverpool City Region to take part in the competition.

“Our fantastic partnership with dot-art has helped to promote creativity and during the pandemic we saw how it could also promote good mental health in schools, two things that are key to our curriculum here at the University. I’d encourage every school in the city region to try the competition and find out for themselves how much the children and teachers enjoy the experience.”
