Join us to celebrate local Black-owned businesses selling arts, crafts, food, drink, jewellery, beauty and healthcare products.  

There will be Free authentic African food supplied by Adeola Foods, and Abyssinia Kitchen, and performances from Katumba  – A fierce fusion of UK club music and the carnivals of Northeast Brazil – Katumba create an explosion of rhythmic revelry that you can’t help but dance to!

Our student led image exhibition HAIR -Heritage Attitude Identity and Respect- will also be on display with natural Black hair expert Joyce Koomson, owner of Ebony hair salon in Liverpool, selling specialist haircare products as well as providing advice and guidance on how to care for Black hair.  

Ean Flanders, The Descendants exhibition will be unveiled by Edge Hill Honorary Doctorate, Wally Brown CBE followed by a spoken word performance from Edge Hill student, Claire Beerjeraz

Everyone
