Edge Hill University’s IT Services Team has been crowned Best Service Desk Team by customers in an industry-wide survey.
Over 125 service desks signed up to take part in the IT Service Week Awards 2018, and Edge Hill University received the highest number of nominations with the highest average rate of 9.94/10 for overall customer satisfaction.
More people voted than ever before, with Vishal Nayee receiving the most individual votes in the team. Nina Unsworth, Jenny Jordan, Mark Wild and Elliot Cohen also received a large number of votes.
The team provides support to staff, students and visitors both on and off campus resolving hundreds of IT-related enquiries daily.

“We are delighted to have won the award for Best Service Desk Team. It’s really rewarding to find out that so many of our service users have taken this opportunity to acknowledge the team for providing such a fantastic service.”
Nina Unsworth, IT Service Desk Team Leader, added:
“The recognition is very encouraging and is an excellent motivator in continuing with the standard we have set for ourselves as well as looking at ways to continuously improve.”
The team will be presented with their award later in the year.
