Edge Hill University has scored highly in Which? University’s independent annual Student Survey of extra-curricular activities for 2014.
Students surveyed rated Edge Hill particularly highly in the ‘Sport’ and ‘Creative Scene’ categories, agreeing that sport is ‘a large part of (Edge Hill) University life, with a wide range of organised sports teams, clubs and facilities open to all levels’ and that ‘music, theatre, dance, choirs, visual arts are a large part of University life, with lots of art societies, events and facilities open to all.’
The survey results – based on information gathered and analysed from more than 12,500 students across the UK – help build a picture of what extra-curricular life is like at different universities, just one of the many factors that can influence prospective students when deciding on their next steps.
Which? University is a free and independent website to help students make more informed decisions about higher education from Which?, the UK’s largest consumer organisation.
The good news follows the recent announcement of Edge Hill winning University of the Year 2014-15 in the Times Higher Education Awards.
