A think, eat and feel good event will be held on Thursday 3 April as part of the Time to Change Pledge.

Organised by the Edge Hill Islamic Society in conjunction with Student Services and Skelmersdale Food Initiative, the event between 11am and 2pm in Room H241 of the Faculty of Health building will look at the following topics:

  • Understand how thinking affects the way you feel
  • Tips on how to use relaxation to improve your mood
  • Improving your mood by eating the right food
  • Sampling some healthy eating

Edge Hill is one of hundreds of organisations taking part in Time to Change, a nationwide awareness-raising campaign organised by mental health charities MIND and Rethink Mental Illness. The Vice-Chancellor Dr John Cater and Students’ Union President Elect Kayley Wilson signed the pledge on behalf of the University and SU.
