HillStudents from Notre Dame High School, Everton Valley, Liverpool, will be stepping back in time at a history event next week

Around 20 pupils will spend next Tuesday, 11 December, at Edge Hill College of Higher Education, brushing up their history knowledge to assist in their A Level studies.

They will be accompanied by Notre Dame teacher Alison Cavanagh, who studied history at Edge Hill.

History lecturer Tony Webster said: “The pupils will take part in two history sessions, one on the Liberals and Welfare Reform from 1906 to 1914, and another on Stalin.

“We will also give them a talk on careers and the benefits of studying for a degree, a tour of the campus and show them how to use our Learning Resource Centre.”

The visit is part of Edge Hill’s ongoing commitment to forging links with schools around the North West.
