Welcome to our third Festival in a Day (#FiaD). Once again, the aim of our #FiaD is to bring together a range of speakers from across the creative industries. It gives you the opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers, and celebrate the success of our graduates. You can also network with the speakers and get some tips on how to make it in the creative industries when you graduate.
Third year Advertising students had the opportunity to impress one of the world’s best-known creative agencies during a live brief, which showcased their talent, ideas and professionalism.
Pitching is at the heart of the television and ﬁlm industry – from an expression of an idea on paper, to the physical presentation and subsequent commissioning of that idea – and also central to Edge Hill’s Television Production Management programme.
From composing theme tunes to coming up with ways to improve some of the nation’s most popular daytime TV shows, Media students had the opportunity to pitch their creative ideas to a panel of industry professionals as part of Employability Week 2016.
