Welcome to our third Festival in a Day (#FiaD). Once again, the aim of our #FiaD is to bring together a range of speakers from across the creative industries. It gives you the opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers, and celebrate the success of our graduates. You can also network with the speakers and get some tips on how to make it in the creative industries when you graduate.
Pitching is at the heart of the television and ﬁlm industry – from an expression of an idea on paper, to the physical presentation and subsequent commissioning of that idea – and also central to Edge Hill’s Television Production Management programme.
Health and safety might not be the most glamorous aspect of ﬁlm and television production but knowing your trip hazards from your ﬁre risks is an essential part of working in today’s creative industries.
Meg loves that no two days are the same working in television production management. As an undergraduate she worked as a Production Coordinator, with production company Blast! Films on Channel Four’s The Secret Life of the Zoo.
