Composers at Edge Hill

Use our graduates:

Each year we invite two graduates back on campus to work in dedicated studios with up-to-date digital resources, applications and acoustic instruments. Our graduate composers are available to work with those outside or inside the university who need music for projects or whatever kind. No fee is charged for agreed campus projects, and competitive rates otherwise.
Phone Richard Witts on 01695 657888 for details.

For 2016/17 our graduate composers are:

At Edge Hill University we encourage all of our music students to create music, whether as songs for a group, a dancefloor track, a film score, an ambient or electronic composition, an instrumental or vocal work, an installation or improvisation. We have staff and student film-makers and television practitioners, drama and dance students who need music and sound scores for a range of projects. We have four recording studios, resources for installations, spaces for concerts, and active links with ensembles and soloists. The technical resources at our composers’ disposal include Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate, AVID ProTools 11, Apple Logic X, Propellerhead Reason 7, Adobe SoundBooth CE, AVID ProTools 11, and Sibelius
