Prospective Students

The Media department has strong, proven links with a number of big name companies and agencies throughout the industry including a major partnership with the BBC.

The department also hosts a employability  week that gives students the chance to listen to lectures from key figures within the media world and take part in interactive workshops that help to give an insight into working in the industry. Past speakers include Professor Tanya Byron and the then Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Andy Burnham.

Creativity is extremely important in the Media department and students are encouraged by our experienced tutors to broaden their ideas, push boundaries and display creativity every step of the way during their course. We also offer a highly supportive environment where our staff members will be only too happy to help, whatever the problem.

Successful students will have a wide range of exciting and rewarding career paths open to them. These include:

  • Art direction
  • Copywriting
