Help and Support
Access to the Manchester site Faculty of Health and Social Care reception and Library is via the Edge Hill entrance, which is right of the main entrance coming from the Palace Theatre. All Edge Hill staff and students will need a valid Unicard to gain access to the campus.
The helpdesk is open 10am-2pm, and provides support with general library queries, re-setting passwords and learner support for resources. If you are a visiting student, not usually based at Manchester, access may be restricted outside of the helpdesk opening hours. For information about the service and general help and support please contact Christina Lowton. You can use the library as drop off or collection point for book stock from any of our other site libraries.
UniSkills is a package of workshops, online resources and face to face support to help you develop a range of essential academic skills to enable you to produce high quality university assignments. Contact the Learning Services Student Engagement team for one to one support with your academic writing and information research skills.
The centre has a dedicated library with a tailored book stock to support the courses that are run in Manchester. There are study spaces suitable for small group work or individual study, and the building has power to enable personal mobile technology use.
