Nick Harrison – Barrister
Nick has been in legal practice for over 14 years. Nick was a Solicitor from 2004 to 2016, having completed a training contract with Pannone & Partners in Manchester. He has experience in working on cases involving catastrophic injuries with individual settlements exceeding £1m.
With a love for advocacy, Nick recently transferred to the Bar and is now a Tenant at 18 St John Street Chambers, Manchester. Nick has a general Civil practise with an emphasis on personal injury. He also acts in chancery and commercial matters.
Nick studied Law at the University of Central Lancashire, graduating with an LLB (Hons) 2:1 in 2001. He then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Chester’s College of Law.
In 2016 to 2017, Nick will be assisting Edge Hill University’s Department of Law & Criminology with the student Law Clinic. Nick also sits on the department’s Legal Professional Advisory Panel, which meets to discuss developments in legal practise for the benefit of providing up to date education and development opportunities to students.
Nick also sits as a Moot Court Judge for internal and external mooting competitions and assists the department with Open Days, at which he presents to future students about careers.
