Wednesday 4th January 2015 at 1.30pm
This is a free event open to those involved in or interested in public participation in welfare, health and social services and in the changes being introduced through contracting and commissioning.
There will be a number of workshops which will be of interest to carer groups, voluntary and community sector organisations as well as practitioners and policy makers. There will also be market stalls from providers such as:
- Children in Care Council
- Central and West Lancs Carers
- Sefton Carers Centre
- Postgraduate Medical Institute
- Edge Hill Students Union
The event is being hosted by the University’s Institute for Public Policy and Professional Practice. I4P was launched in February 2014 and as part of this event there will be a ‘reporting’ back on the work of the Institute over the past year. Following the workshops participants are invited to hear Professor Peter Beresford from Brunel University give the Annual I4P Public Lecture.
