International Foundation Programme

High School Diploma with a GPA of 2.75 or above

Undergraduate Programmes

High School Diploma with a GPA of 2.75 or above
plus either
four AP (Advanced Placement Programme) courses at grade 3 or above
three AP courses at grade 4 or above
First Year of University/College
3x SAT subject tests at 550 points – 1200/1600 in the SATR
ACT (Overall average score 26)

If an application doesn’t quite meet the criteria above, it may be possible to join the Fastrack programme or the International Foundation Programme.

Pre-masters Programme

Students whose qualifications do not meet our general entrance or course requirements may need to take a Pre-Masters course to qualify for entry to a postgraduate degree programme.

International Foundation Programme

Students whose qualifications do not meet our general entrance or course requirements may need to take an International Foundation Programme to qualify for entry to an undergraduate degree programme.

Undergraduate Programmes

Alberta General High School Diploma – 65% in 5 grade 12 subjects
British Columbia Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma – 5 grade Bs in grade 12 subjects.
Manitoba High School Graduation Diploma – 5 credits at the 300 level in at least 4 subject areas; and at least 65% in each subject.
New Brunswick High School Graduation Diploma – 65% in 5 acceptable subjects.
Newfoundland High School Graduation Diploma – 65% in 5 subjects at university preparation level grade 12.
Nova Scotia High School Completion Certificate – 65% in 5 subjects at level four or five.
Ontario Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma at advanced level, with 6 grade 12 U, U/C or M courses including grade 12 U English. BBBBBB (6 at 70%).
Prince Edward Island High School Graduation Diploma with at least 65% in 5 subjects.
Quebec Diplôme d’Etudes Collègiales (DEC) at grades 65% and above. English Language requirements may apply.
Saskatchewan Completion grade 12 Standing/Division IV Standing (Secondary School Diploma) – 65% grade average in 5 subjects.
North West Territories General High School Diploma – 65% in 5 subjects at grade 12.
Nunavut Secondary School Certificate/Diploma – 65% in 5 acceptable subjects at grade 12.
Yukon Territory Senior Secondary School Graduation Diploma – Bs in 5 grade 12 subjects.

Postgraduate Programmes

You must have graduated from a recognised Canadian university and have successfully completed at least four years of study. The exact grade requirement will depend upon the grading system used in your first degree.

For example we may ask for:

  • GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • GPA of 7 out of 9 (where the course requires a 2:1)
  • GPA of 5 out of 9 (where the course requires a 2:2)
  • A minimum GPA of 7 out of 12
  • A minimum GPA of 8 out of 13
  • A minimum Grade B
  • A minimum grade average of 70%

Applicants should have passed the Certificado de Conclusão de Ensino Médio at grade 6 or equivalent.

Undergraduate Programmes

Applicants should have achieved the Certificado de Conclusão de Ensino Médio at grade 6 plus a recognised International Foundation Programme or equivalent.

Applicants who have good grades in the Título de Técnico may be considered for entry to appropriate undergraduate programmes.

Pre-masters Programme

Students whose qualifications do not meet our general entrance or course requirements may need to take a Pre-Masters course to qualify for entry to a postgraduate degree programme.

Postgraduate Programmes

Applicants with Título de Bacharel or Título de Licenciado GPA 7/10 – 4 years minimum from a recognised Brazilian university.

Mexico

Postgraduate Programmes

Applicants who have completed a four year Bachelor degree (Licenciatura) from a recognised Mexican university will be considered for admissions onto a Masters degree.

  • For courses that require a 2:2 students must achieve 7.5 out of 10
  • For course that require a 2:1 students must achieve 8.0 out of 10
