There she held a variety of posts including that of Clinical Educator in Paediatric Intensive Care, and was awarded Life Membership of the Paediatric Intensive Care Society in 2010.
Her academic qualifications were gained as a part-time student, and on nearing completion of an MA in Clinical Education combined these interests and expertise by joining the Clinical Education team in 2008.

She is Programme Leader for the PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice accessed by health care professionals involved in the educational support of students and trainees in practice. She is also a post-graduate dissertation supervisor, and a member of the Institutional Validation & Audit Standing Panel.
She has particularly interests in the application of theory and research to practice (clinical and educational), and the informal learning which takes place amongst expert healthcare professional teams, which is the focus of her doctorate.
