You will receive an email with your student number, temporary password and link to stage one enrolment.
Please note that if you have been a student at Edge Hill University in the last 12 months, you should log in to the enrolment system using your current GO username and password. If you have problems logging in, please contact the Learning Services Helpdesk on 01695 650800 or [email protected].
Please complete stage one as soon are you receive your email and if possible at least two days before you attend stage two.
Step 1 – Course information
Your Personal Details
This contains your name, date of birth and student number.
Your Course Details
This contains your course code and instance code [which denotes the year for which you are enrolling], your full course title, your mode of study (full-time or part-time), the academic year, year of study, start date and course location.
If you find that any of this information is incorrect please inform the Enrolment staff when you attend stage two of enrolment in person.
Step 2 – Home/term address
Follow the on-screen instructions and enter a separate term-time address if it is different to your home address. If your home address is also your term address click on the ‘Same as’ box. Use the ‘lookup’ option to quickly identify your address based on your postcode – this will save you having to enter your address manually.
Remember that you will be able to make amendments to your contact details at any time via the University’s GO portal once you are registered.
Step 3 – Emergency contact
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the contact details for at least one person who can be contacted by the University in the event of an emergency.
Step 4 – Personal information
Follow the instructions on the screen and select your answers from the drop-down menus. If you click on the item headings, you will be able to access help information for each item.
Step 5 – Additional information
You may be asked some additional questions in this section. Follow the on-screen instructions and select the relevant answer. Help information is available for each item.
Step 6 – Photo upload (optional)
You can upload a photo in this step. Please read the guidelines to see what kind of photo you need to upload. Remember that submission of a photograph is not mandatory at this stage – we can take a photo when you attend stage two of the enrolment process in person.
Step 7 – Review
You can see all the data you have entered on this page. You will also be asked to read and accept the ‘Term and Conditions’ which is a declaration which confirms your understanding that the relationship between you and the University is a legal one. Information about the Terms and Conditions of the contract was sent to you when we made you an offer of a place. There is a check box for you to indicate that you have accepted them – please note you must accept them in order to complete stage one of the enrolment process.
Step 8 – Confirmation
The confirmation page contains all of the information that you have submitted to the University to complete stage one of the enrolment process.
