Students Union

Located at the heart of campus, the Students Union is run by students for students, offering a packed line-up of activities and events, vibrant social spaces, and an independent advisory service than can provide representation, support and advice.

Our Student Opportunity Fund offers support for career enhancing  opportunities which will help  you develop personally and academically. If you have any queries related to the Student Opportunity Fund, support is available from the Scholarships Officer on scholarships@edgehill.ac.uk.

Careers 

The Careers team aims to help students develop their employability, offering opportunities to learn, gain transferable skills and acquire relevant work experience. We encourage all students to use our services from your first year onwards.

Top Tips on finding a part-time job

      • Update your CV before starting university
      • Consider finding a job on campus – over 1,000 students work on campus, usually on a casual ad hoc basis to fit around their studies. Don’t worry as most of these jobs will only be advertised from Welcome week
      • Keep an eye on these websites which advertise local jobs, including these: E4S and this site has some good tips and advice for students:  www.savethestudent.org
      • There are lots of opportunities to work in hospitality roles locally and on campus. Some of these will be seasonal roles.

We also offer the Extra-Edge Certificate to first years who have part-time jobs.  The Certificate recognises the importance of work-related skills gained through a variety of work experience.  You will have the opportunity to register for the Certificate from the start of the next academic year.

Volunteering
