Whether you will be studying at our Ormskirk campus or our St James’ site in Manchester, on this page you will find some useful travel information.
Travelling to the Ormskirk campus
Arriving by Public Transport
You can find out more about arriving at Edge Hill by public transport, including details about bus or rail travel on our website. The Edge Link bus runs from Ormskirk bus station to the University, see the full timetable on our website.
Arriving by Car
Please be aware that parking on-campus is very limited, and spaces cannot be guaranteed. For information about how to find us, visit our website.
If public transport is not an option for you, then parking on-campus is free but you will need to apply for a permit. Please just keep in mind that parking is very limited if you don’t take part in our car sharing scheme.
Please note that if you live on-campus, you won’t be eligible for a permit (there are some exceptions for students on placement).
You can guarantee a parking space, and reduce your carbon footprint, by taking part in our car sharing scheme. Car sharing is when two or more people share their journey and travel together.
To take part in this scheme, both people have to be in the car with both parking permits displayed in the windscreen. More details can be found here.
