How to apply
Applications for on-campus accommodation will open on Tuesday 28 January. If Edge Hill is your firm choice, you will receive an email with the subject line ‘EHU – Apply for campus accommodation’. If you don’t receive this email, please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are studying the BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice in Manchester, you can search for local accommodation at www.manchesterstudenthomes.com/Accommodation, a free housing service for students.
If you would like advice and guidance on finding the right place to live please email our Accommodation Team email@example.com
Confirmation and payments
If you are successful in securing a room in halls, you will receive an email from the Accommodation Team to confirm your room allocation and provide you with your Licence Agreement on Tuesday 10th March.
Your moving in date is Sunday 26 April. You will be asked to book a timeslot to arrive in (between 10am-1pm) a little nearer the time.
Please remember that you must sign your e-licence agreement to confirm your room. You will also need to pay your £150 deposit in full to secure your room and make arrangements to pay for your accommodation. These steps must be completed within 5 days of receiving your room offer.
Please note that your initial contract in halls will run to Friday 26 June. You will be offered a contract extension to cover the summer period but this may entail a relocation to a different hall, where you will be located with other nursing students. We will be in touch regarding arrangements for this after you have arrived. You will also be eligible to stay in halls for the 2020/2021 academic year. Again, we will be in touch regarding arrangements for this after you have arrived. Payments are aligned to coincide with your student loan payments.
If you change your mind and decide that you no longer want to accept our room offer, it is important that you notify firstname.lastname@example.org so we can offer your room to another student.
