The interdisciplinary research of the Environmental Processes and Change Group is concentrated around two main themes:
- The investigation of environmental/ climatic change and response at different timescales using a range of approaches including both documentary and sediment-based evidence.
- Contemporary environmental processes including coastal processes and geomorphology; carbon cycling within potential carbon sinks and stores; and atmospheric particulate pollution.
