Emma Readitt has been successful in obtaining a place on the NERC-funded Quaternary Palaeoenvironments short course, being held at the Natural History Museum, London, in February 2019 (w/c 4th February).

The sessions will include a taxonomic and palaeoecological review of a suite of biological groups. This is a highly sought-after five day course covering beetles, chironomids, diatoms, pollen, and vertebrates.

Emma works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Geography Department at EHU and is currently completing her PhD in Paleotempestology and Environmental Change. Her research looks at past hurricane activities using a multitude of geological proxy techniques.
