Student Accommodation Code
The Code protects our students’ rights to safe, high quality living accommodation, to make sure they get the best out of their time living in our residences.
It outlines everything students can expect from our accommodation as well as their responsibilities as tenants.
The Code has already raised standards of accommodation across the higher education sector and, together with our overt commitment to customer service excellence, underpins our ongoing dedication to our students. We are fully committed to providing a safe, comfortable living environment which will help support our students in leading a successful and enjoyable student life.
Please take care of your Unicard as there is a £10 charge for a replacement due to loss or damage. Do not holepunch, bend, bite or scratch it as this may stop it from working.
What do I do if I need a replacement?
If you are a current Edge Hill student and have lost or damaged your Unicard you will need to purchase a new one via the on-line store. No cash purchases are available.
Please do not purchase a replacement card if you think your card may be faulty or if your card has been stolen and you have a valid Crime Reference Number. This will be replaced free of charge and should be reported to FM Reception. However, please note that Edge Hill University cannot accept responsibility for the cash value of any lost or stolen Unicards.
Where do I collect my new Unicard?
Payment must be made in advance of a replacement Unicard being issued by FM Reception. Please bring your receipt with you as you will not be able to collect your new card without it.
Please click Unicard.
