Located in The Durning Centre, our new purpose-built facility at the heart of the campus, the FM Helpdesk provides a welcoming and friendly environment for our customers to interface with all our services.
We can help you with problems relating to heating, lighting, general maintenance and repairs, adverse weather, cleaning, pest control, furniture, access and keys. We can also provide you with information relating to opening times, catering, post, directions, travel and parking. Please see our Service Level Agreement.
Whether you choose to contact us by phone, online or in person, the FM Helpdesk will be your ‘one stop shop’ for all your FM needs. Unlike many other universities and colleges, we welcome enquiries and job requests from everyone – students, staff, commercial partners and visitors.
Our professional, dedicated and enthusiastic Helpdesk staff pride themselves on making a positive difference to the customer experience. If your request relates to an area or service that is not provided by FM e.g. IT Services, Student Services etc. our staff will point you in the right direction and even make the initial contact with the service provider on your behalf to make sure you receive the help you need.
You can visit the FM Helpdesk in person at The Durning Centre between 08.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday (term time). If you need to contact us outside of those hours, our online and telephone services are always open.
