What is connecting us? through time and space? centuries and continents? ideas and emotions? reality and imagination? And our bodies?
Karavan is creating a thread, linking past and future, east and west, Live art and its audience. Living threads is a compilation of 2 solos – ‘Falling’ – A visual poem, Homage to the victims of Nagasaki’s atomic bomb 1945, and ‘I’ – Inspired by and with the work of artist Sandra Tomboloni. ‘What interests me is not to see myself in the mirror but rather to see myself reflected in others’ S.T.
“With elements of Butoh and Dance, Karavan’s physical discipline is extraordinary. Every pulse and movement count … all is communicated” – Total Theatre Magazine
