LUMA CREATIONS presents a vibrant and diverse programme of music, dance, storytelling, crafts and workshops! With performances from Colombia, Chile, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico and Peru; Fiesta Latina will have something for everyone.
Performances from groups such as the mesmerising Mestisa, playing popular songs from across South America, Los Hermanos performing a cross genre fusion of original and traditional songs from across Latin America, and Candombe drum and dance as well as the colourful exquisite Colibri Mexican Dance Troupe presenting dances from across the region of Mexico.
Fiesta Latina will have magical, mystical storytelling from LUMA CREATIONS taking the audience across the Andean mountains and tropical Rain Forests and a performance by Edge Hill University Dance company, choreographed by Estibaliz Moure Abad and Francisco Carrasco.
The Weekend will give audiences a chance to participate in drum & dance workshops, arts & craft activities and a set of Latin American craft stalls.
Throughout the weekend there will be an exhibition of important Latin American women and a chance to hear talks about four women of Latin American who have made an important impact in Latin American culture, community and history.

3 talks about Inspiring Latin American Women delivered by local inspiring Latin American women: Freda Kaalo (Mexico), Violeta Parra (Chile), Clementina (Brasil)

CALFUN – 5 piece Latin American Fusion of music
COLIBRI – Mexican dance troupe
CHINCHINERO de Londres – One man Drum Band traditional Chilean)
