For many, it’s a dream come true: eating chocolate can be good for your health.
Dr Catherine Tsang (Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition and Health at Edge Hill University) will discuss her research into the future of chocolate manufacturing and how it may help with weight management and other aspects of good health. Catherine collaborated with top Belgian company Barry Callebaut, who manufactured chocolate using the Acticoa method, which retains the naturally-occurring healthy compounds within cocoa.
What are the health benefits of these compounds? Could chocolate really be the next super food?!
